Questions: What is a good HD camcorder that you can use different lenses on?

in 1080p Camcorder

What is a good that you can use different lenses on?

I want an HD and widescreen camcorder that you can screw different lenses on. Like fish-eye, and dof.

What are some recommendations for a good HD camcorder?

I am looking in to buying an HD camcorder.
I don't plan on doing too much with it; I just want to record everyday things.
What is a camcorder that I could find without having to spend too much?
I know nothing about Camcorders so I don't even know where to start!
I could really use some help.
Thanks!

Any with a specification, “Lens filter diameter”. This means there are threads arounf th lens to allow you to add a screw-on lens. If the spec is not published, there are no threads. Some low-end cameras without a “lens filter diameter” spec will still allow additional lenses, but generally not DoF adapters.

By the way, by definition, “high definition video” is 16:9 aspect ratio – widescreen. If you specify high definition, then widescreen is assumed.

A Vivitar Digital Video Recorder/ Camera is good. I have a 840XHD

8.1 Mega Pixels
1080 HD Video
3″ Preview Screen
4x (2x for 1080P) Digital Zoom
5x Optical Zoom
High Definition
Build in Microphone and Speaker.
Create Your Own Movies
Add special effects with video software
AV Cable to watch on your TV
SD/SDHC Memory Slot up to 32GB

It comes with a CD that walks you through everything and the CD is everything you need. Quality is BEAUTIFUL. It works really well outside also. But the cost is about 220$ but its worth it.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!
