It is best to stop at 5X optical zoom. Only Two Modes are offered in Video stabilzation, Thisis how the GVS got its name called 'Gyro Video stabilizer" aiptek action HD GVS 1080P camcorder. This is actually how shooting for TV has worked for several years; pictures are shot on HD cameras and once the programme is edited it is broadcast in standard definition (with the exception of HD programmes).
