What is better video record camcorder or camera?

My HD 720p Aiptek camcorder cant here my voice when far
i need to closer in the speaker then i cant record myself.
Some camera dont need to closer to camera and they can here voice.

buy a new camcorder, they are so much better than caaras, dont you dont want to fill up your camara with videos
